The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol is medically developed and
contains 2 key components – Weight loss and a healthier lifestyle education.
Most dieters know weight loss is possible given adequate motivation and circumstances. However, according to the National Institutes of Health, there is a strong tendency to regain weight after dieting. This is why Ideal Protein is a comprehensive weight loss method – not just a simple product! It is not only a physical journey, our coaching is all about connecting and helping you on your journey through your last diet!
Maintaining a stable weight after dieting often requires changes to your lifestyle habits. This is why Ideal Protein strongly emphasizes education and understanding. You must learn to eat “smarter” or risk regaining your lost weight. Therefore, when you begin our program you will be assigned a personal weight loss coach. Your coach will assist you through each of the 4 phases of the Ideal Protein method. In phases 1 & 2 your coach will help you set your weight loss goals and support you on that journey. In phases 3 & 4 your coach will shift focus to weight stabilization and post diet living, teaching you weight maintenance habits that may assist you in keeping the excess pounds off after dieting. You will learn:

the relationship between insulin and weight gain;

which foods are best suited for healthy weight management;

when, why and in what combination to eat carbohydrates, fats, and proteins;

Phase 1: Three Ideal Protein food products are consumed per day, along with 4 cups of select vegetables, unlimited lettuce, and 8 ounces of lean meat or fish. Phase 1 is followed until 100% of your weight loss is achieved, but it’s not the end of your weight loss journey.

Phase 2: You reduce the Ideal Protein products to 2 per day and add a second meal of 8 ounces of lean meat or fish. Phase 2 lasts a maximum of 2 weeks.

Phase 3: The focus of this Phase is weight loss stabilization. You will re-introduce carbohydrates and healthy fats to your diet over a 14 day period (but in the morning only).

Phase 4: Maintenance - learning how to maintain a balanced weight after dieting. During all 4 Phases of the program, you will receive one-on-one weekly coaching. Part of this coaching includes educating you on what to eat, when to eat and in what combinations you should eat carbohydrates (sugar), fats and proteins.
