What is Rejuvenia?

Rejuvenia Intense Pulsed Light (IPL™) technology is a treatment breakthrough that can correct a variety of benign skin conditions, such as facial skin imperfections, the signs of aging, birthmarks, unwanted hair, unsightly small veins, and other blemishes. If offers a safe, noninvasive solution that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type, providing superior cosmetic results and outstanding satisfaction. This new procedure is called Photorejuvenation.

Rejuvenia technology is exclusively from Medicam Inc. The real achievement was to be able to activate all these treatments using an IPL technology (side effect free) at a frequency that only their Research Center was able to discover. After 2 years of Research and development, Medicam was proud to launch a multi-function unit that all the Medical and Aesthetic fields were waiting for: Rejuvenia!!!

The first handpiece o the Rejuvenia device allows us to do most Rejuvenia treatments, such as Cellulite reduction, Vitiligo treatment and spider vein treatments. The second handpiece is used for Breast firming, Breast enhancement and Skin Tightening.

When will I see results?

Many clients see results after the first treatment. However, the deep tissue stimulation continues to rejuvenate deep tissue and collagen production; therefore, continued improvement can be seen for several weeks for some clients.

How often do I have treatments?

Treatments can be performed every 10 to 12 days. After your initial treatment, the Technologist will recommend a series of 4, 6 or 8 treatments depending on your particular case. After your series of treatments, we suggest you then wait 6 to 8 weeks to see the continued results before deciding on continued treatments or a maintenance recommendation.

How long will the results last?

Your skin is constantly changing as a result of lifestyle changes as well as aging; it will continue to do so naturally. Some clients prefer to return for maintenance treatments in order to slow the appearance of aging; either monthly or yearly - now you have the option of safely slowing the visual signs of aging!

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

If you take any kind of medication notably: Acutane or Tretinoin; or antibiotics please check with your Doctor if they might cause photosensitivity.

Herbal supplements of St John’s Wort should be discontinued for at least 4 weeks prior to any treatment.

Tanned skin is more sensitive to IPL and therefore treatment intensity may have to be reduced; your results may be compromised if you continue exposure to sun or UV light.

If you have had herpes blisters type 1 or 2 in the past, you must consult your Doctor first.(Like the sunrays the pulsed light from our system could trigger an outbreak)

If you have a history of seizures you must consult your Doctor prior to any pulsed light treatment.

If you are pregnant, we are sorry but we choose NOT proceed with any IPL treatment during pregnancy.

Some women are more sensitive during menses; please schedule your appointments accordingly.

Contra-indication consultation is required before any REJUVENIA treatment sessions can be booked.
